3 Kitchens Featured as a Best Practice in Food-Based Education

We’re thrilled and honoured to announce that 3 Kitchens has been featured as a best practice example in the FOODINCLUDES project — a European Higher Education initiative that champions diversity, inclusion, and sustainability through food-based education.

Being recognised among such innovative and community-driven initiatives is a meaningful affirmation of our approach at 3 Kitchens. Through our three-step (kitchen) model of volunteeringtraining for employment, and low-barrier entrepreneurship,  we support women from migrant and refugee backgrounds to build confidence, skills, cultural exchange, and economic opportunity.

The FOODINCLUDES project shares this vision. By spotlighting diverse, inclusive, and practical models of food-based education across Europe, it demonstrates how food can be a powerful driver of social inclusion, personal growth, and community resilience.

We’re proud that 3 Kitchens has been highlighted for our commitment to hands-on, inclusive, and culturally rich learning experiences. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the FOODINCLUDES team of  Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (Germany), Career Plus (Poland), First Rung Life Skills (Ireland), BIA Innovator Campus (Ireland), Universities Continuing Education Network, European E‑Learning Institute (EUEI) (Denmark), Centro de Formación de Administración y Hostelería (Spain)  and Fundació Solidaritat UB (Spain) for this recognition and for creating a platform where diverse initiatives can learn from and inspire one another.
